In short: this website sets no cookies, has no forms, and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. That is why there is no cookie banner. The only personal data we receive is what you choose to send us by email or WhatsApp, plus the technical logs any web server keeps.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is Paolo Trovato, trading as brandYOU, Milan (Italy). Contact: paul@brandyou-factory.com.
2. What data we process, why, and on what basis
- Server logs. When you visit the site, the hosting provider automatically records technical data such as IP address, date and time, pages requested, browser and device type. Purpose: delivering the site, security and preventing abuse. Basis: legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Messages you send us. If you write to us by email or WhatsApp (or click the buttons that open those apps), we receive your name, contact details and whatever you tell us. Purpose: replying to you, preparing a quote, and managing the resulting business relationship. Basis: steps taken at your request before a contract (art. 6(1)(b)) and legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
- Business contacts reached by email. We may write to businesses at publicly available professional addresses (company website, social profile, company LinkedIn page) to propose our services. We use the professional contact details and the business information published alongside them. Every message says how to opt out; if you ask us to stop, we stop and keep your address only to make sure we do not write to you again. Basis: legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.
3. Cookies
This site does not set cookies and does not use local-storage trackers, analytics, advertising pixels, embedded videos or social widgets. The typeface is hosted on our own server, so your browser does not contact font services. Because no cookies or similar technologies requiring consent are used, no consent banner is shown. If this changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
4. Who receives data
- Website hosting: Netlify, Inc. (United States).
- Email: our mailbox at Register.it S.p.A. (Italy), with messages forwarded to a Google (Gmail) account.
- WhatsApp: Meta Platforms, if you contact us there.
These providers act as processors or independent controllers under their own terms. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, this relies on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. We may also share information with professional advisers where needed, and with authorities where the law requires it.
5. External links
The site links to WhatsApp, Instagram and LinkedIn. Once you click, those services apply their own privacy and cookie policies, which we do not control.
6. How long we keep data
Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for the short period it needs for security and operations. Messages and business contacts are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting relationship, and afterwards only as long as required by law or to defend legal claims. Opt-out requests are kept so we do not contact you again.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest at any time. To exercise these rights, write to paul@brandyou-factory.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it) or the authority of your own country.

- Contatti aziendali raggiunti via email. Possiamo scrivere ad aziende a indirizzi professionali pubblicamente disponibili (sito aziendale, profilo social, pagina LinkedIn aziendale) per proporre i nostri servizi. Usiamo i recapiti professionali e le informazioni aziendali pubblicate insieme ad essi. Ogni messaggio spiega come opporsi: se ci chiedi di smettere, smettiamo e conserviamo il tuo indirizzo solo per non riscriverti. Base giuridica: legittimo interesse (art. 6, par. 1, lett. f).
Non usiamo i dati per decisioni automatizzate né per profilazione, e non li vendiamo.
3. Cookie
Questo sito non installa cookie e non usa tracker in local storage, strumenti di analisi, pixel pubblicitari, video incorporati o widget social. Il carattere tipografico è ospitato sul nostro server, quindi il browser non contatta servizi di font esterni. Poiché non vengono usati cookie o tecnologie simili che richiedano il consenso, non viene mostrato alcun banner. 6. Per quanto tempo conserviamo i dati
I log del server sono conservati dal fornitore di hosting per il breve periodo necessario a sicurezza e gestione. I messaggi e i contatti aziendali sono conservati per il tempo necessario a gestire la tua richiesta e l'eventuale rapporto che ne nasce, poi solo per il tempo richiesto dalla legge o per difendere diritti in giudizio. Le richieste di opposizione sono conservate per non ricontattarti.
7. I tuoi diritti
Ai sensi del GDPR puoi chiederci accesso ai dati, rettifica, cancellazione, limitazione del trattamento, portabilità, e puoi opporti in qualsiasi momento al trattamento fondato sul legittimo interesse.
